Recap
On the weekend of April 30 2010, Las Vegas was again invaded by the del Sol hordes for the tenth time. From all over the United States, Sol trains were headed to the magical city of Las Vegas. From Washington State, Alabama, Texas, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, and California, the Sols caravanned down the highways, and byways to the Vegas city lights. The NorCal and SoCal Sol trains joined together at Peggy Sue’s diner in Barstow, CA, to continue their trip to Las Vegas.
Eventually 47 Sols would arrive in the city that never sleeps.
The first Sols to arrive met at the Pole Position Raceway Indoor karting. Once there they were treated to a lesson in driving by Tiny Tofu ( John
, as he posted a lap time of 29.2 seconds. He weaved his way through his fellow Soler’s, showing off the skills he learned on the SCAA autocross circuit. A fun time was had by all.
That evening 33 Sols showed up at the Sonic Drive in on Flamingo, for the Sol Meet and Greet. On hand were 3 JDM right hand drive, transtop Sols, an unusual sight to say the least. From bone stock Sols, to full out customized Sols, a good representation was on hand. From here, the member’s split into 2 groups, one went to drag race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, led by Loki. The other group went to the infamous Friday night Meet and Greet party. Hosted by the AZSol’s own, Speedster ( Stacey K).

The next morning, some folks were bright eyed, some tried from the lack of sleep, and some that had not yet gone to bed, met at the Orleans Casino for a buffett breakfast.
